Parsley essential oil, obtained from the seeds of the plant, has a warm, sweet-spicy scent. Like many aromatic herbs, Parsley also has antimicrobial, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties, to which are added strong digestive and carminative properties.
From the parsley seeds, an essential oil with a liquid appearance is obtained by steam distillation, with a color ranging from amber yellow to brown, more or less viscous, with a spicy and woody aroma.
Used in infusion it is excellent in stomach disorders, especially in aerophagia. This is manifested by flatulence and belching and a burning sensation in the stomach.
So, 3 drops of parsley essential oil per 250 ml of hot water are sufficient. This infusion is also recommended to prevent fluid accumulation (cellulite, swelling), kidney problems, and urinary tract infections. It also contributes to the regularization of the menstrual cycle and promotes appetite.
Parsley oil is also beneficial for external use. Relaxes muscles and relieves contractures. Reduces joint and muscle pain caused by gout.
In addition, using parsley oil is a very effective natural method to relieve hemorrhoids and varicose veins.
Many women use it to relieve menstrual pain through belly massages or in an aromatic bath. Used in inhalation, parsley essential oil clears the airways, making it effective in cases of asthma or persistent cough.
