Fir Needle essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from fir “needles” – soft and flat, needle-like “leaves” of the tree. The needles contain a bulk of useful chemicals present in the tree.
Fir needle oil has a fresh, woody-earthy aroma, fully consistent with that of a tree. Fir essential oil is most commonly used to treat colds and respiratory infections and has also been used successfully to relieve feelings of exhaustion, muscle pain, and symptoms of arthritis.
