Fennel essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the flowering tops or seeds. It is colorless, and its scent is spicy and warm.

It has an anti-cellulite and anti-inflammatory action and also offers a relaxing and antispasmodic action on muscle contractions affecting both organs and limbs. It is an excellent digestive, cardiovascular, gynecological, and respiratory antispasmodic.

The seeds themselves are used in decoction in a steam bath, against eye pain, migraines, hearing problems, or gingivitis. The leaves are used against breast engorgement, cysts, bruises, or contusions.

Fennel essential oil boasts several healing properties. It is a natural digestive, but it is also an antispasmodic and expectorant, it is also effective for reducing menopausal disorders and stimulating the menstrual cycle, relieving pain.
