This essential oil is extracted from the bark, which produces an oil with the characteristic aroma of ground cinnamon, but which can be quite sensitizing.
Aromatically, Cinnamon Bark essential oil is much richer in aroma than cinnamon powder. Cinnamon Bark Oil tends to be “warm”, stimulating, and energizing. It blends well with many other essential oils, especially oils from woods, spices, citrus, and plants in the mint family.
Cinnamon Bark essential oil is known to have antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and carminative properties.
