Beta Pinene is again related to the group family of monoterpene. Just as alpha pinene, beta pinene also has a pale colourless liquid like appearance. It is mainly comprised from two isomers of pinene, one is alpha pinene as discussed above and the other being beta pinene. It has a boiling point of over 167°C and chemical formula of C10H16 same as alpha pinene, because both are closely related and isomers of the same component that is pinene. Switching on to how beta pinene smells like, then, it has woody green pine like aroma. Similar to alpha pinene, beta pinene also has same anti inflammatory properties in it helps in battling short term memory impairment, relieves anxiety , acts as a pain reliever and maintain all over health. Talking about it’s solubility, it is much more soluble in alcohol but not in water. BETA pinene is best known for flavoring and used for enhancing aroma. It is most commonly used in lemon, sage, nutmeg and further more. It has a fresh woody spicy like substance.
