Turmeric Oleoresin: An Overview

Turmeric Oleoresin, derived from the rhizomes of the turmeric plant (Curcuma Longa), is a potent and versatile natural extract known for its vibrant colour, distinctive flavour and numerous applications in culinary, medicinal and industrial sectors.

This is a one-of-a-kind extract obtained from the roots of the Curcuma longa Linn plant. They create it using specific liquids, then remove the liquid to obtain the useful substance. This extract is coloured by a fragrant oil, a sticky substance, and something yellow called curcuminoids. The major component of curcuminoids is cur cumin. Tumerone and Zingiber ene are also present in the scent oil. This extract’s anti-inflammatory effects are well-known in medicine.
